So many of them not fit to wear the shirt. How about Ritchie earns this contract that is on offer before he gets it ? 1 from 21 is NOT GOOD ENOUGH !!! Devaney couldn't take a football around me, Reid/Kay/Williams are slowly then Andy Fordham, Hayes and Richards couldn't score in a brothel. Ritchie needs to get some players this week NO EXCUSES.

Ritchie must NOT be offered a contract, he must earn it.......

the guy is looking a complete novice at the moment, little boy lost, shocking substitutions, naive tactically, and can't get his head round the transfer/loan system, we will part company with AR before christmas, if he does'nt strengthen, we will part company with this division in May unless he learns how to utilise the player market.
I fear that GS will submit to pressure and give AR a 3 year contract, what a massive mistake that would be, he has 9 months left of his existing contract, leave it at that, make him work, make him prove he can cut it.
Unfortunately, it looks to me like AR has taken a step too high on the management ladder.

    Who would replace Ritchie anyway?

I just think that anyone who might come in instead of AR would struggle to do better with our squad and our financial circumstances.
He would also change the team around again which, although the strikers are crap and Devaney is in a bad spell wouldn't be a great idea.

No mate they are doing the best they can.
They don't go on to the pitch with the intention of letting us down.

It's a simple fact that AR and RH are sending them on the pitch without adequate preparation. I had a guy telling me he had been down to training and saw total lack of coaching. He's not on this board so he wasn't aware of my own observations.

Did you see AR doing his Parkin impersonation with his arms folded. Great body language that.

It's clear to me that upto last week most on here were urging GS to offer a new deal to AR, maybe after today, those talks will be stalled, why should Ritchie be the only one to get a safety net should we fall.

One of the 50 who would apply for it.

He slagged off the team for the Sunderland performance and said he could see changes. So why did he stick with the same players who have let us down time after time lately ? I would drop Devaney for a start.

For me Devaney played well, most of the time he's the only one actually trying to do anything and he put some excellent balls into the area but god knows where our so-called strike force was.

I don't believe he's got this bad overnight. I think the pressure on him to deliver is ruining him. He needs another winger to help him out, and give him competition.
