    I have no idea exactly what they've got planned. However, Lincoln hosted the Ralpha GP this weekend over two days. Amateurs on Saturday, pros on Sunday. Obviously I'm not privy to any figures, but I'd be astounded if hosting the event didn't bring far more than £130k worth of business into the city. There was loads going on around the finish line, plenty of people out, food trucks serving local snap, increased business for pubs in the area and a generally excellent atmosphere.

    September 5th. I went to the finish of the Tour de Yorkshire at Fox Valley a few years ago, it was a great event. Should be a good showcase for the town.
