    Got to say that is one of the worst goalkeeping display's i have ever seen at Oakwell.
    If their striker had gone down in the first 5 minutes a different story altogether.
    Devoid of confidence.Get Davies back in NOW!

    To be fair he was clearly asked to play a sweeper role which he didn't look comfortable with.

    Playing a role he's obviously not comfortable with will have an effect on his confidence .
    Obviously he's well thought on .IMO he should be given a role he's familiar with to start and if LJ was adamant of enforcing that role he should have started with Davies if fit imo

    Davies has just been as bad in recent weeks. That first goal last week was just as laughable as yesterday's goal.

    I've seen Townsend three times now. The first time he was brilliant and was one of our best players in the League Cup game at Scunny. The other two occasions he has been poor. Davies has more experience and at the moment is a better goalkeeper so I would still be going with him.

    There's goalkeepers and goalkeeper sweepers.just as some full backs are not comfortable as wingbacks.it can affect their whole game.
    I'll reserve my judgement on Townsend when he's played a traditional role.

    i like him. not shy to come charging out to clear his lines. keeps things interesting. he can also kick a ball, one of which led to a goal yesterday. guwon nick.

    I would have retained Davies. Townsend shows promise, but both have made unforced errors recent weeks. As such I would try to build confidence by backing one for a long run. Making the change affects Davies confidence and now Townsends can't be sky high after that.

    Didn't have a good game, but conceded just one goal. Needs to communicate better with his back 4 but it was the lads first pro league game. A bit of slack should be given. Okay when a goalkeeper makes an error it's usually more costly but he only made one which led to a goal. He'll get better with experience and game time.

    A couple of errors in judgment coupled with some great saves. One of the worst goalkeeping displays I'd not agree with though.
