TPTB update....

    Operation successful! TPTB is now less one kidney and one "massive" tumour. Operation took over 4 hours, partly due to the hugeness of the tumour. I had been led to believe it was about the same size as the kidney, but apparently it was much bigger than that.

    For the first night in weeks I can relax a bit in the knowledge that the big nasty thing has been removed.

    Fingers crossed the treatment of the secondary tumours is effective enough to slow them down.

    All the best everyone, and thank you all for your messages which have been humbly appreciated. You're a wonderful bunch of folk!!!!

    I'm going to raise a glass to my Dad now as today would have been his 76th birthday.
