Train Station has been cleared of people

Some dude on a train with a gun, armed police went in as people were sprinting out of the station. The town is being closed all around.

 

yeah my mate just texted at first they thought it was a bomb scare nothing on news yet, just happened??

 

I've just had a walk down as i work 2 mins away

My mate that finished at 5pm walked down and he said people were proper sprinting out and armed police entered, when i walked down the police were windening the cordoned off area.

how can that happen? people sprinting out straight away and armed police on the scene that quick?

plus i dint think we had armed police in Barnsley

 

I heard

that people were still on the train he was on and he had a bomb, i've heard from a more reliable source that he has a gun.

 

maybe the train driver phoned ahead knowing what was happening

and there's loads of armed police in Barnsley

 

Armed police officers will be within the South Yorkshire Constabulary, which includes Barnsley!

And, if someone had reported him before the train had arrived at Barnsley Interchange there was every chance people were running away as the Police were approaching.

i remember when the was an armed robbery at the yorkshire building society and it took them ages to get there.

Suspected suicide bomber....

Brother is stuck on a train at Sheffield and the train driver has confirmed suspected suicide bomber at barnsley station. Train is surrounded by armed police.

 

And the rumours get better!

Is it a gun, is it a bomb, or is it a suicide bomber?!

I think even a suicide bomber could pick someone slightly busier than a train to Barnsley.

You would think the driver would explain the train delay by saying "police incident" or something like that and not by worrying people by spreading gossip about what actually might be happening.

Somebody had been caught having a Sherman tank in the train bogs.

He was supposed to be making ar lass feel at home when she comes over from Philadelphia!

Aye, I'm on fire tonight.

 

I was the mate DJ Fatty Boy referred to and trust me, there were people running out of bus station down the escalators and towards exit onto Eldon Street. At the same time armed police were entering. As I left work at about 5pm from Eastgate I could hear a few police cars shoot down Regent Street, so not sure whether they were pre-warned or not, but they were most certainly there.
Just got in and watching Calendar and no mention of it on there.
