Different areas striking on different days.
Northern and Trans Pennine are striking on Wednesday 31st Jan but there maybe some disruption as they have an overtime ban throughout the strike period.

I have a feeling my son will convince me that the 450 mile round trip will be worth it ;)

Looks as if the leg to Manchester is ok but the next part of the journey to Horwich is a bus. Last away game I can attend this season so quite gutted.

we're thinking of going to preston to get in, trains running to horwich from there, or maybe taxi it from piccadilly
not getting a bus from mancs!
