RE: anyone? I think it might be cheaper still if you buy two singles - ie one Sheffield-Cardiff, and another one Cardiff-Sheffield. I'm sure someone told me that the other day.
RE: anyone? the train will be that full whats the chances of the conductor even getting to check the tickets....
RE: anyone? There are a couple of contacts in the Chron.Direct from Meadowhall to Cardiff for £48.00.Can't help with the numbers as my son took off with the paper.
£55 direct from Barnsley to Cardiff run BFC in conjunction with Star. I think I read somewhere that it set off at 10:00-ish and arrived at 1:00 although I can't remember where.
From What I know it sets off at 7.00 ish, due to get in about 1.00pm, and sets off back at 7.00pm (to account for possible extra time, penalties and celebrating!)
What do you mean? If you mean picking the ticket up then they are going to sit a caravan on the Oakwell car park on Thursday and Friday - everyone gets a letter beforehand confirming their purchase and you pop down to the caravan and pick up your tickets. Alternatively, I think you can pick them up directly from the train station before it sets off on Saturday. So it shouldn't be a problem.
sets off at 8a.m. from Barnsley direct to Cardiff Central, sets off back at 7p.m. reserved seat numbers £55
