going on todays half decent peformance its seems that we have worked on quite a few of our weaknesses over the summer, but there are one or two things that we still need to practise.

    CROSSING THE BALL

Two six foot plus strikers to aim for, we currently can't get the ball within five yards of either ones head.

STRIKERS ATTACKING THE BALL WHEN CROSSES COME IN

Mr Hayes & Conlon need to work on reading crosses and not be stood flat footed with mouth agape when the centre half gets a free header five yards in front of them.

ONE OF THE TWO CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS GETTING UP AND SUPPORTING THE STRIKERS OCCASIONALLY.

note to mr Wroe and Burns, you don't get a nose bleed when you enter the last third of the field, you are not attached by a piece of short elastic to the half way line and the crowd won't boo if you rain in pot shots at every opportunity (especially if one occasionally goes in) HOWEVER! they will boo if you hesitate or faff about with the ball in the last third then lose it and let the other team hit you on the counter attack.
