Hassell only player not out due to knee injury. Ricketts looked very sharp and keen to impress. Looks to have plenty of pace and skill and also good with either foot. Werling looks a mean mother fecker in the flesh and also looks like he's going to be useful. Likes to get stuck in, very good passer of the ball and likes to get forward. Think he'll be a big favourite with the fans. Odejayi will surprise a few people this season and get a few goals especially strong in the air. Johnson the experienced midfielder we've needed for a while now. Things shaping up nicely in my opinion!

    I Agree........

that when you look at who we had this time last year and compare them to now, I think we stand a better chance of doing well.

I,ve got to agree i said all along that last seasons squad was nowhere near good enough for the Championship. But we still need a ,keeper that is the weak link

    Is Werling fit then?

I thought he limped off on Sat?

    Maybe it was a precaution.

If he is as good as the fans who saw him on Saturday say, then brilliant. We've got a good 'un,

If he's as good as he sounds...

I'd play him left back and Kozluk at right back.

I don't know... but Kozluk surely has to play, excellent player with 20-odd games in the Prem last season. You need a squad, be nice to have some selection dilemmas for the right reasons for once rather than having to decide who's the least bad!

How did the team spirit look with the new lads? The language barrier must be a problem.

How about Bruma? How did he look? Any idea when they all head off to Portugal?

I have a funny feeling Odejayi will be very useful this season.

Think Hassell is a better defender than Kozluk but think Kozluk will start the season due to his LARGE wage!

Team spirit looked good. Ricketts was already joining in the banter. Werling talked good english dont know about Bruma. Bruma was training at the far side so couldn't really tell too much. Portugal tuesday morning. Colgan, Devaney, Ricketts, Howard and Johnson were very loud and full of encouragement for the others!
