Could anyone tell me if anyone can watch the reds train, I am wanting some signatures on my daughters shirt for her birthday. I was told from the club shop that they train today and I could more than likely meet them. Thanks
last season you could walk into the training ground and watch them there..but this season davey has seemed to make sure its locked up so the best viewing is on the side hill near the metrodome...however , if you want signatures make sure your round near the players entrance either when they start or once they have finished, most of the first teamers are normally happy to chat etc..
Cheers for that, I know the woman in the club shop says that it is a closed session on fridays but it is open on thursdays, she also said that the best bet is about 11 to catch them after training.
RE: All gone home by 11.30, unless they want to do specialised work nt Been down to get my daughters shirt signed, last player away was Iain Hume at about 1.15. Spoke to a few and congratulated them on the performance on tuesday. Spoke to Darren Moore who came in for treatment and he said he could be a doubt for this wekend. Also asked Iain Hume if there was any chance of him playing again this season he said (quote): "I bloody hope so because I am not doing this training for nothing"
RE: Hmm, cracking news about Hume if that is true He looked really fit, and like I said, he was the very last one to leave. He played with all the squad in a match, heading the ball as though nothing had happened. Carried on training after the rest had gone including running with weights behind him.
RE: Great news if he's up to heading the ball already. nt His last session was with him, Steele and Bogdanovic, where Iain and Boggy had balls crossed to them so they could head at goal.
wow... serious head injury and heading the ball. fair play to the lad, hopefully nothing comes back to bite him. would love to see him play again this season, even if its in the last game needing to win to survive and he comes on and scores a belter. heres hoping we don't come close to relegation though.
RE: was hume wearing any head protection? nt NO, he was just wearing his hat, but I saw him take it off and there was absolutely no head protection.
