Is any of it open to the public or has Uncle Simon got armed guards on the gate to stop us getting in?
Its open to the public every day they are training apart from Fridays. They stopped you standing at the gates now but you can stand on the hill everyday they are training apart from Fridays as already stated. Ive been up there a few times and its a good view and can see the first team train very well. You can also ear them shouting but some on the hill are very anti Davey and the coaching staff.
took my 2 grandchildren this lunch time and on the gates public bodies are prohibited going through gates to training, but i got in with the kids and the players happily signed the autograph books for them and when simon davey and ryan kidd came off i apologised to them for entering the sacred ground and they said they didnt mind for autograph hunters and were very cheerful and and a natter with me and georgina aged 11 and alex aged 6. they were very pleasant with us. we thanked them for the time spent and went on our way.
Davey is very good with fans He very kindly posed for a picture with wife and grandkids and went out of his way to do so. I can't see any reason why he is not as good with the players.
i was that chuffed on tuesday night id have bought him his beer for the rest of the week. now by my standards thats better than winning the bloody lottery.
