If you look at our squad we've now got 9 strikers fighting for 2 places (or 1 place if we're away), but we've only got 6 defenders for 4 places (and that's if Thompson gets a work permit). Yet Davey said in the Chronicle just prior to the season that "a balanced squad was taking shape". Just sums up perfectly why he should not be managing our club.
