Barnsley are to bid for Cameron Jerome from Birmingham for £1m +
    Scott Murray from Bristol City
    Aaron McClean from Peterboro

These are just bids, we aint signing them for definite. They are from a very good source. Interesting though. Also the rumour going round about Heinz Muller to Pompey is just speculation. No bids in as yet for any players. Howard deal to Blunts is in place as all paperwork has been completed.

Scott Murray is about 50 and on loan at Cheltenham Town

I find it hard to believe we would seriously look at him

Know Cameron's father from playing in Hudds District league

Hanson Jerome, quite notorious around huddersfield, he also played up at emley for a few years when they were doing well

    Might be wrong but

Premier league teams dont appear to be shelling out big money on league players players half as much as they used to before the infux of foreign names

I reckon someone like McClean or Mackail Smith are more likely to be snapped up by Championship clubs. Our problem is that we are well down the pecking order in our league.

Jerome would be superb, as would McClean. Can't see either happening though.
