Senior executives at Microsoft have moved quickly to quash rumours of a bug in Transfer Windows XP which allows world class players to sign for West Ham. A spokesperson for the Redmond company said 'Users of Transfer Windows XP tend to be savvy technical types who like to tinker with reality so it is only natural that some unusual support issues arise'. Transfer Windows XP has had a cult following in media circles in recent years due to its supposed instability but one industry insider we spoke to today labelled it 'the biggest bore in football'. A spokesgeek for the alt.transferwindowsxp newsgroup advised CNN that the system was inherently unstable and that previously deleted items such as 'Dwight Yorke' and 'Jonathan Woodgate' had a habit of reappearing despite yearly reinstalls. Microsoft have also posted today details of downloads for the ashleycolesaga patch which fixed a bug in the media whereby Ashley Cole was in the news every day during the past 12 months. Microsoft have recently responded to a recent flood of complaints from tarn fans who wanted to know that whenever they wanted to complete a transfer they got a 404 Player not found error.
