Anyone know if you can get eclipse glasses or such like anywhere in Barnsley for watching the sun during the transit of Venus? Pondering getting up at 5 to have a look at it although I'm sure it'll probably be overcast!

    Cheers

We've just been looking at it from the back doors at work here in Dunedin (almost the polar opposite of Barnsley), blue skies and snow on the ground so it's a perfect day to see it. We used binoculars and some black film so view it, we've tried taking pics but travel binoculars and an iPhone isn't ideal.
