I'm driving down to London on Sunday for the Cup Final, I'll have my 7 year old with me so I thought it may be better to park outside the capital and maybe go in on the train. Any ideas which station would be best to park up at and then get the tube/train into Wembley Park. Cheers in advance
A lot of people I know used to park up at Luton and get the train from there, only 1 stop before London stations
Always used Cockfosters when ive done that, large car park at the station as well, always worked fine for me.

I always used to use Stanmore until I got fed up of how busy the tube station car park was after the game. I've now started using Queensbury or Kingsbury instead ... they are on the same tube line, a couple of stops before Stanmore.
Luton is a definite no no. I called there in November to find out prices for parking and train. I think in total it came to about 60 quid for 2 of us.
I parked at islington station for about 12 quid and then got the tube for about £8 and that was with overnight parking.

Went to wembley for england game, stopped at queensbury tube. You will be able to park on road on sunday, but......queueing to get into wembley north tube after the game was awful, easy an hour plus jammed into the approach. we walked out round side but cops have it all cordoned off. we were well lucky to find a back door to tube stn open and gave cops the slip. if i was going again i would park car ten mins walk from ground. after game bumped into some lads from chestrefield at a service stn and they said they always did this when watching england(well it wouldn't be watching chesterfield would it!!!)
