I will be coming to Oakwell to see the Super Reds battle Watford this Saturday all the way from Pittsburgh, USA. 1st time back since the last match of the season when we lost 1-Nil to Leicester but stayed up because the Leeds plonker fans invaded the pitch at Elland Road! (Can't remember what year that was 2008 maybe?) Any road - looking forward to the match. For those who get to go every Saturday - you're lucky!! Before I moved to Canada/US as a young lad I used to go to Oakwell all the time with me Grandad and stand in the Spion Kop watching the lads hoof it around in the Third Division! COYR!!!!

Not 100% sure. My Uncle is buying the tickets. We usually sit in the West Stands when I go with them.

I hope you have a great time and see a reds victory.

I wonder if you can help me actually?

I'm a massive Steelers fan and always wanted to come and see a game. So wondered a) Whats Pittsburgh like for a short stay say 3-4 days andb) what are the chances of getting tickets?

Nowt like travelling all that way for the luxury of the west stand ;)

You can make the trip from all the way over there but people from Barnsley can't be arsed to go. Crazy.

Pittsburgh is a great city for short stay. Tons to do. You can get tickets fairly easy off Craigslist - but if you are serious about coming send me a PM and I can more than likely get some of my contacts working their magic and get you tickets at face value. You would love Heinz Field - great venue to see a game!

I was going to say something along the lines of "wish we had a Sidney Crosby equivalent in the Barnsley line-up". The Lionel Messi (well almost) of Ice Hockey plays for Pittsburgh Penquins, for those who don't know.

Another Pittsburgh related question......planning on flying into there sometime to visit relatives in Wellsburg, WV. Is there a direct flight, all I can find is a connection either at Washington, Chicago O'Hare, NY or with Air Canada? Cheers.

That will be the very same Sidney Crosby who is currently top of the NHL points scoring with 45 points from 27 games! Ovechkin's a good shout (certainly not Iggy any more) but he doesn't play for Pittsburgh, ha ha.
