Does anyone know if its walkable form wigan train station to ground?
The actual distance seems to be about 1 mile, but just checking if there is pavements etc, as oposed to a non-walkable dual carriageway or whatever?

Yes mate, about a 15 minute walk, not much on the way but the ground is next to a Centertainment style complex

Did it mi sen Feb 2014. Clear signage and you can see the ground pretty much as soon as you come out of the station. I got in early so went for a wander around the town centre.

Google Maps lets you input whether you're on foot, by car/bus/train, etc.
