Doesnt like being around Panesar I suspect!

Tresco seems to have an aversion to anything Indian.

    Its only just broke,

5-Live were just talking about it.

    Maybe he isnt mentally there.

Better he goes now than when he collects a pair of ducks in the 1st test.

    Good thing really

They would have played him in the first test and as you say he'd have made 2 low scores. Thankfully this does not leave us with a hole in our batting, in fact it strengthens it. Cook has great mental stability and plenty of ability and Collingwood will shore up the tail end.

Collingwood can also bowl a few , once we get bored of

    "Half-Volley" Anderson.

Onus will be on Strauss to get after Lee as Cook looks to be more of a grafter.

I just hope Flintoff is up for bowling 30 overs a day.

If Harmison and Hoggard are still out of form then we could be struggling a little!

Plus Collingwood is one of the finesst fielders in the world (alongside Monty Panesar - ran someone out yesterday!!!!).

Its all good stuff, can't wait for it to start.

Cook is a grafter, he'll stick there and let Strauss, Bell, Pietersen and Flintoff do the talking whilst keeping the runs ticking over on his side.

Its a hell of a strong looking team it has to be said.

But, we said that about the team that toured England last year.

I really hope they don't play Jacques or Tait.

If our bowlers are on their game,

I reckon we can knock that batting line-up over for less than 300 more often than not.

Also that bowling line-up looks good for at least 350.

Warney will get is usual 5 wickets , however that will be for 150 runs off 45 overs. This will give England 350+

I don't think that they'll play either jacques or tait.

Jacques will get his chance as soon as either Hayden or Langer has a bad match. Tait is close too.... a bit a gunslinger to liven things up... even he doesn't know what delivery he's going to bowl next..

He throws it nearly every ball.

Has he ever been under investigation for an illegal action?
