Butland on bench. Just need Drinkwater and Mawson to play and half the England team will be ex-reds

Why do England line up 3-4-3 in friendlies against the top sides, give them a good game, then revert back to 1 up front against lesser opposition in qualifier games.

We're a goal up already on France due to quick counter attacking play.

We might end up getting beat 3-2 or whatever, but it's good to watch. As opposed to drab, patient build up play against Estonia to limp to a 1-0 win.
