    after yesterday's offering being answered with ease by Kev and Nutkins let's see how you cope with these. I've gone a little further back today...

    1. Name three players who were sold directly to Aston Villa from Barnsley. There are at least six to choose from, three of which left within the last twenty years.

    4. Which was the first year Barnsley FC donned a red and white kit?

    5.     I can only think of Stuart Gray , who left for Villa in 1987 .

    We bought him from Villa in 1983

    And sold him to Birmingham in 1984 .

    Answer to number 2 was J. Mason

    Clue for number 3: this chairman was in office for 25 years between 1908 and 1933.

    Clue for number 4: Barnsley first wore their famous red and white kit in the first year they entered the football league.

    Clue for number 5: Pubs in this village include the Queen Victoria, Longbow and Cross Keys
