    End of season table...

however I do it on the BBC website predictor (great fun if you have nothing better to do) is that it is the biggest relegation scrap for years. Whichever way I do it, Southampton are relegated - they have the most difficult run-in. We are safe as long as Southampton don't win and, on my reckoning, we clear them by just three points, but their goal difference is poorer. The three points by which we clear assumes that we beat both Hull (!!!!) and Leicester at Oakwell and lose the away games. I've got Hull down for a five-goal thriller with us running out 3-2 winners. We beat Leicester 2-0 because they are safe by that time and aren't that bothered.

With three points clearance between us and Saints, we still end up about 17th as it is so tight down there at the end and Saints go down, even though they have 52 points, normally enough to stay up.

We'll have no nails left come the end, that's for sure!! But then, neither will the supporters of at least eight clubs. BTW Wednesday always survive on my reckoning, as they have a straight-forward run-in and you can't imagine the Blades sending them down in the derby game, can you???? Well, can you????

RE: Trouble at Mill? - Paul d.?

Hear a rumour the Saints may go into Admin. What's the cut off for the date they can take the 10 points and not have it effect them next season? Paul d. is always hot on rules and regs?

    As far as I know

If they go into admin after they are already relegated (like Leeds did) it counts for next season.

If they go into admin when their future is still in doubt it counts for this season.

If that is right (and I'm not sure) they are well and truly f***ed if they go into admin.

There are some cut off dates involved but not sure what they are.

    Just done that predictor

Based on my lame-ass predictions it has us staying up quite happily. What do I know? Deep down I fear we may not win another game ever. :)S) It's that time of the season where I need to get a prescription to calm my anxieties.
