Just had a text from a load of mates who are in Russia, apparantly there's been England fans getting attacked by gangs on the underground. Had this been in this country..... Pulled out of this game, seems a good idea now, very dodgy city.
Just Been On Radio 1 Newsbeat At 10:30 It's to be expected in such a country. Fans were warned to stay in their hotels and not to venture out until they set off to the match. Are they not allowed to enjoy themselves and go sight seeing now? The thugs are acting like offspring of Mr Putin.
RE: Just Been On Radio 1 Newsbeat At 10:30 I went to Croatia when there was trouble before that game, they wouldnt actually let us in with valid tickets! Eastern Europe is always a bad experience following England. The Police are up for it more than the thugs but not much of that ever gets reported back home. In Croatia they were out in force with their batons and l saw a girl being hit over the head because she wouldn't step away from the turnstiles, she was being pushed forward by the crowd behind her at the time.
I Might Be Going............ to Paris next year to watch the England friendly against France. Countries like France are much safer. The cops in most foreign countries treat our fans badly before they have even done anything, due to the reputation we had in the past.
Me and me Dad... ...got tickets allocated in the ballot and decided not to go on safety grounds. Really glad now.
Just been on the phone to someone out there
All sorts going on- Russians attacking any pub they see English. Windows going through, plenty of injuries. Then again, this is Russia, anyone going out there surely weren't expecting the red carpet

RE: Me and me Dad... Cancelled mine last Friday due to going to America next week on a last minute thing, not got the refund yet though!!! Was a bit put off after watching it on Ross Kemp on gangs.
not the recent one on sky, he did one on Moscow last year.. They had Nazi type gangs that were nothing to do with football but they were trying to run the city.
I Think I Watched That One Is it the one where he was set on fire to get into the gang? The one where young girls around the age of ten were walking around with guns?
Thats the one.... shooting each other with BB guns as part of their training, a girl was in one of the gangs. They had a general and were backed by a Politician who believed one day they would run Moscow.
When did you buy the ticket? Surely you didn'y buy it more than a year ago?
After it was on RKOG?

RE: When did you buy the ticket? It was repeated on the telly the other month didn't see it when it was originally broadcast. Tickets were bough back end of August beginning of September i think.
Uncle Josef Stalin called it correctly when he said, 'One dead England fan is a tragedy; a thousand dead England fans is a statistic.' Or something like that.
not surprised...... .....domestic footy violence here worse then anything I've ever seen in the UK outside of Grimsby.
My mate from work has just sent me a text from Moscow "the police are going feckin mental"(england) (england)
