Watford have rejected a 20 million bid from Leicester. How much is Stonesy worth? 200 million?

In today's world of crazy money, I dont think that £20m for Troy Deeney is that outrageous.

I really rate him so I'm a little biased but with the right strike partner he could be a 20 goal striker in the PL. Probably would have been in with a shout of the England squad had he and Ighalo not had a dry spell in the 2nd half of the season.

My opinion obviously. So in response to your opening question, I'd say Stones is worth whatever people are willing to pay. £30 ish million?

I think it's madness to be fair. Deeney is a good player along the lines of Rickie Lambert or Grant Holt (in his prime). A few years ago he would have been worth 3-5 million and that would be about right. As for Stones forwards always attravt higher fees so 30-35 million in today's daft money.

Troy Deeney is only 27 though. And although he's playing pretty close to his peek, I reckon he'll be at it for a good few years yet.

Lambert and Holt were both in their early 30s and at their very peak.
