...and I'm uploading at a higher rate than I'm downloading! Seeing as I haven't got any films and only a smidging of music on my hard drive, wtf is someone snaffling???
You are sharing it mate ! you are uploading the same thing as you are downloading - ie you are downloading star wars at lets say 10kb , this means you are sharing what you have downloaded with other people who want it too. The reason you may be uploading faster is because you're sending the file to more people - eg. 3 people are getting the file from you at 10kb so your upload speed is 30kb.

WARNING, DON'T USE LATER VERSION THAN 1.6 reports of later versions sending download info to people who don't like us watching films for nowt, and will come knocking on the door at 3 in the morning. S)
Iam downloading films all the time through utorrent mate. When you load it up, at the very bottom of the page there should be your download speed and your upload speed that you can see! (D: ..... / U: ..... ) -Right click the Download speed and make sure its set at " UnLimited " -Right click the Upload speed and set it at " 15kB/s " You shouldnt be uploading your download above 15kB/s... Should help your problem.
