Some Man Utd tickets for any upcoming home match for someone's Christmas, any idea's the easiest way to get them without paying Man Utd £30 to get the "privilege" to apply for tickets?! And yes, I hate myself for asking this question.
Man United are part of a ticket selling scheme like stubhub in the USA. ST Holders can sell their tickets on their if they arent going to a particular game.
I cant remember what the site is , so do a search.

RE: Man United are part of a ticket selling scheme like stubhub in the USA. Cheers, I found it but once again you need to be a ST holder or OneUnited member to buy/exchange them!
Every so often Somebody at work auctions off some Old Trafford tickets for charity. The tickets are apparently "worth" £250 (who the chuff pays this? - I thought £22 in the East Stand Upper was expensive!) and include all the hospitality, wining and dining and celebrity meeting. No idea what price they usually make (I think it's a "blind" auction - probably quite a bit, there's thousands of employees here) or when the next auction will be so probably of no interest to you but thought I'd mention it. The point is, you might find some tickets where you least expect it.
Buy them together with a 'package' from the club Last year I bought two tickets for my son and grandson, that included a tour of the stadium and changing rooms, with a meal thrown in at the club cafe. They also included a night at a hotel accross the road from the stadium the night before. They were good value and although committed BFC fans it was an experience. Things like 'sitting in Alex Fergusons seat' a guided tour of the trophy room and to sit on Renaldo's bench in the changing room.
I went to Man Utd Vs Blackburn couple of weeks ago. Before anyone starts, my girlfriend is a Man Utd fan, she was supposed to be going with her dad, but he couldn't make it so the ticket was offered to me, seen as it was on a Sunday and i wouldn't be missing the Reds i accepted. She came to the Bristol City game at Oakwell with me so you could say i was 'forced' to 'repay the favour' and go to watch them!! Anyway, her and her dad bought the tickets off a ST holder who wasnt able to make the game.
Just turn up, loads of touts outside selling tickets, best place is outside the tram stop at LCC and then walk towards O/T, you will see plenty at a reasonable price.
