    I know

She's a bright lass, I have alot of time and respect for her, but this...totally out of character and utterly stupid.

Threaten to shop her and friends.

I assume the others are in the same position regarding licence, insurance etc.

    Who's car are they "borrowing"?

The other two have their licences

And obviously one has the insurance for the car as they own it.

But there's nothing legal about their "plans"

If they are prepared to risk their lives,

as well as put others at risk, rather than just their licences etc then they deserve to be shopped to the Police.

    I agree

But, I don't want to fall out with her. I just cannot see why she'd want to do this when she's on about getting lessons soon anyway.

Dilemma time. I've tried to explain the dangers and consequences...in one ear out the other.

    In that case

you'll have to let them go and HOPE that nothing happens to anyone. If anyone gets hurt they'll have to live with it.

If she is stupid enough to risk everything then I'm afraid I wouldn't class her as a good friend as you would also have to live with any consequences.

I agree totally with you there, Crystal.

If anything was to happen it'd be on my conscience that I didn't do enough to stop her. I was totally dismissed with my reasons why she shouldn't go.
