After weeks of negativity and doom mongering, Keith's boys bounce back with a performance of steel, grit, passion, commitment and intelligence. We get knocked down but we get up again!

The talk in the week was of an unlucky defeat and good performance so much so that only one change was made from the trip t'palace. Been crying out for Cotts to start, even a half fit Cotts would still offer us the quality we so badly needed, and boy did he provide it. The guy ran his blood to water, still amazed that following King Keith's interview, several Radio dee dah callls and posts on here that no one has really acknowledged him. A proper winger who can beat a man, cross a ball, take a corner, and track back.I would sign him up on the strength of the that game alone, no brainer.

Other notable performances, Stephen Dawson, wow!!!! Talk about 'how to become an Oakwell legend' with more performances like that a new fans favourite will emerge.Typified everything about us yesterday, 110%, brave, intelligent, hard graft, willing to die for the shirt etc etc superb.

Scott Goldbourne, excellent game at left back, can pass, head, tackle, has vision, looks accomplished and will make that spot his own next season.

Matty Done, another fine example of hugging the touch line from Matty first half, getting the head down and sprinting for the goal line, great line player, tries hard and has the vision and crossing to complement Cotts on other side, a rare treat to see us go at it with two out and out wingers.

Andy Gray, I hope, I just hope many of his knockers appreciated, acknowledged, took note of his performance yesterday. We know he dosen't have the pace and won' t get us tons of goals, but leading the line all alone for the remainder of the game and managing the ball superbly while continually being fouled was great to see.

Also Scott Wiseman bounced back from a few dismal displays and showed his confidence has not been affected. Button looked more than solid, great kicking. Fozzy and Baresi, although still give me panic attacks when passing between them coped admirably with the 2nd half onslaught.

One last player to mention, I know he's got some stick on here, Nathan Doyle was having a terrific game before being sent off, I have always liked Nathan, a hard working, tough tackling industrious player who has developed his passing game over the last few years. I know he made it hard for us yesterday, but he's not a malicious player and would be sad to see him go.

Finally the gaffer, animated, loving it, cool, calm, nervous, bullish. A journey of discovery over the last few months, soul searching, rediscovering the real Keith Hill.Never before in any season has a manger gone on such a bad run, had spats with fans, admitted his mistakes and still received a rousing chorus from the ponty end, I think ladies and gentleman that tells you all you need to know of how the majority of fans feel about King Keith. Him and Flicker are the best thing to happen to this football club in a long long time and will go down in history, mark my words.

    Yooooooooooooo reds

doyle would never play for the club again for me. utter disgrace. the rest were simply superb. think peterborough left it too late to go long ball. the last 10 minutes when the started doing it, was the only time they really caused us problems. proud of them

Key thing yesterday was the Ponty still singing Keef's name, like you said considering the run I was amazed at the support he was getting.

We'll be reight. There'll be more games where we're **** and inconsistent - that's what happens when you sign young lower league players. But the more they play, train and develop the better they'll get. I think Done's a perfect example of that, he's gonna be some player. And agree about Golbourne, too.

Agree. Another thing, we set up to attack yesterday, and we did it well. I'd like to see us go into the next home game with a similar set up, and intent to win the game.

Bit harsh on Doyle, he was sent off yes but no need to hang him out to dry.

Spot on re: Gray. Hope we keep hold of him next season. He's definitely worth another year on reduced terms.

I thought Gray was excellent yesterday, as was Davies before he was substituted.

I don't know where some fans get that Gray is lazy from!
