I'd settle for that every match. Only seen the goals on SS like but with COG & Pedders out how was his all round game for any of the 37 folk that went last night (with a very small % chance you're reading this).
The commentators on Barnsley Player were singing his praises, not just for his assists but also for his great work rate - apparently he was chasing and closing down deep into stoppage time (not bad to say he lacks matches!). At one stage they thought he was a contender for MOM, but I don't know who got this.
Played well linking with attacking midfielders. Neat in all he did. Plenty of chasing and harrying the opposition. Didn't offer too much of a goal threat but assisted 2 goals so can't quibble. Still lacked a bit of match sharpness but good performance.
Definitely on the wavelength of Paddy and Mellzie. See how he links up with big Chris and Pedersson. He looks more than happy to be back with us and certainly made a massive contribution last night. He'll be chomping at the bit ocome Saturday and I can see him getting goals.
