    Mellis is far better.

What I canbt understand is why he's completely reshaped a winning team just because we lost golbourne.

Tunnicliffe and O'Brien were our worst players today. I don't know why Mellis and Etuhu didn't start in the middle.

Except when he refused to come forrard with ball and let their player come and take it off him and charge towards goal.

Some dodgy performances today only Perks and Daggers can hold their head up high tonight for me.

Not sure how he managed to clear it over the bar in the penalty area scramble, some other very tidy defending as well. Our problem was in midfield today, only Perkins had a good game until Mellis came on.

Do you mean when he was blatently fouled trying to turn inside? Otherwise I can't recall him giving the ball away, although I maybe wrong.

He was the one with space to move forward and make ground.

I thought Tunnicliffe was poor against Bristol. One of the main reasons the defence was under so much pressure was that Tunnicliffe went missing for so long and offered no protection what-so-ever. Not that I'd necessarily blame the lad, I thought he was thrust in to the team when he wasn't ready. Today I thought he was a bit better, he certainly tried to get more involved, but he gave the ball away an awful lot.

For my money the midfield has been much weaker for his inclusion these last couple of games.

A strange signing at the time. Even stranger now Etuhu is fit, and Dawson ready to return.

I agree, I don't think it's coincidence that since he came into the side we've conceded 8 goals. Play Etuhu alongside Perkins against Burnley and then Dawson with Perkins when he's fully fit.

Yep, Perkins and Dawson/Etuhu with Mellis as the creative player would be a far better bet. Dunno what's happened with Mellis, maybe he doesn't train too well or summat because on talent the lad would be first player on the team sheet. Disappointed with Flicker's selections recently and he shouldn't cut his nose off to spite his face, as it were...
