You will be at United before you are 21, kid. Stay with us and make the right move in good time.

    I agree.

If we're looking at this in terms of the best thing for the player, I'd say stay at BFC, learn the trade with a highly supportive network of people around him and close contact with his family and friends. Let him continue his physical development and then make the step up.

You could argue playing against better opposition will improve him even more, but he has to be playing week in week out and thats not guaranteed even at Wigan yet. He's still incredibly young.

No disrespect to Wigan, but as a Barnsley lad, would you want to play there, live there? Different if you're born there and where your roots are but it would take a lot of acclimatising to.

Stay at BFC, continue to learn, enjoy it, live the dream and when you're ready go to Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool etc. In time this kid will be that good. And I'd rather we got the potential benefit of that transfer fee rather than Dave Whelan.

I'm hoping Flicker can influence him and convince him to stay with us. Big things await and patience will pay off.
