Turnbull and Beckett

    Hey,
    Oldham fan here, just wondered what you thought of Turnbull. By the way the Beckett story further down is rubbish he hasn't even gone for his scan yet. They estimate 6-8weeks unless there is more ligament damage.

    Good luck for the season (bar against us) Ritchie will see you through.

    Generally regarded highly here I'd say

    Good agile young keeper.
    Slightly too prone to the odd blooper for me to really rant and rave about him but good nonetheless.
    You can expect to concede a comedy goal every 5-6 games as a result but he'll grow out of that with a bit more experience.  Otherwise a more than capable keeper.

    Would've been happy to see him sign for us.

    He did well for us. Having said that, so has Flinders.

    What has happened to him? I would have thought Turnbull would have to play well to displace him, unless he has left for pastures new
