not gonna say Turnbull is better or worse than Steele

But I do think he is a very good keeper.

We've lost a good keeper at this level and replaced with a good keeper at this level.

We've also brought in a striker today with a good scoring record in lower leagues.

So a couple of good pieces of business completed today - well done Danny and co.

How often have you watched Turnbull play?

Is he that good? I know he was on loan with us a few years ago but I weren't a season ticket holder back then & can't remember much of him

Good C.V but not personally seen him enough times to make a judgement

He saved COGs penalty at our place in that boring nil nil. Donny fans are in uproar and stating we have to be favourites for the league now! Still think we need another 4 players.

That's what i thought! Can't quite believe it really, would have thought a Championship club would be in for him at least!
So fair play to Danny and Ben.

Wouldn't say he's better than steele, I remember him well, mistake on debut but solid enough, but he will be better now than he was ten years ago too. Coaching at Chelsea and working under Cech won't have hurt.

I think he did lose his donny place to the lad Johnstone from man utd though last season, not sure if he was injured but he didn't get back in the team if he was, so I doubt he's likely to be amazing, but for league one it's a cracking bit of business and along with the boy from scunny, today has been a surprisingly positive day acquisition wise. Onwards, things aren't necessarily so bad. Centre half tomorrow?

Don't know if that's true or not, but he's certainly good enough for this league. Great signing.

But is he better than Luke Steele?

We'll see how he fares, but on paper, he's a great replacement for our fantastic former keeper.

A guy from Yorkshire Post said he's (Ross) turned down offers from 'big' clubs to be number two keeper.

He'll do for me based on just that.

Decent signing as close to being as good as Luke as we could hope to get.

I'm going to reserve judgement until he's had a season. But in Ross we certainly have a brilliant goalkeeper, capable of playing at a higher level.
