    Now, how sickening is that!
Having said that, if Flinders continues to improve as he is doing then we won't need Turnbull.
It's the thought of Colgan that worries me...:(

    sh*t

I wish we could have got him. However, I have 100% faith in Flinders.

Shame I have no faith at all in Scarcella and Colgan.

    We should have got him.
He and Flinders would have been brilliant.
I reckon we'll lose Flinders sooner rather than later to Hull City.
    That's me being pessimistic though!
Colgan is the one who worries me, you half hope he'll **** it up on Sat so as to ensure Flinders starts against Swindon!:pff

    Not sure about Hull

signing Flinders. They have a pretty good young keeper in Boaz Myhill (everybody was raving about him last season) and they have just signed that portugese bloke called Leite. I'm sure that Peter Taylor likes him but there are other good young goalkeepers around that are as good if not better than our Scott.

If that's true, Ritchie/Shepherd/the board want a massive kick up the arse, why are we p*ssing about with Colgan when we all know he's crap? We should have gone for Turnbull and let him and Flinders battle it out for who is first choice, personally I think Turnbull is better than Flinders but a bit of healthy competition would keep them both on their toes. As things stand, its a certainty that Colgan WILL drop LOTS OF clangers and Flinders MIGHT drop SOME clangers

I cannot understand for the life of me why we haven't tried to get him... if we had I'm sure he'd have chosen us over Oldham.

We just couldn't justify having 4 goalies on the books

Colgan is contracted for another year. That's not Ritchie's fault. He didn't sign him. I believe Scarsella has another year left too.

if Ritchie had any choice at all I'm certain he would have had Turnbull. His hands are tied.

I thought Scarsella was leaving though... hasn't that been said numerous times?

If he has a year left and he can't offload Colgan then I suppose he can't help it then.

It has been said that he's leaving

But who ever heard of a one season contract going into July? Could do I suppose, but it's very weird. If it was just a one year deal surly he'd be gone by now.
