Turnbull?

without making this into a competition of who is the best keeper.

Is he out for the season?

Is he on a 1 year contract?

Think he was on a 2 year contract. And yes out for season.

Hopefully fully fit next year and he and Davies make an excellent 2 either L1 or champ. Davies for me has been the find of the season, along with Scowen, hourihane and Winnall (obviously Holgate and Smith too!)

 

We aint done bad for keepers in recent years.

 

After the last six games, it would be very unfair to drop Davies.

 

Nobody is suggesting that Bob, was just wondering abart cover and if we will see another keeper coming in during the Summer.

Davies and the defence have done well recently, long may it continue.

 

Davies struggled to catch a cold at the start of the season , its been a pretty remarkable turn around in the last 6 games, fair play to the lad if hes gone away and trained hard.

 

Given the presumably large wage Turnbull is on I think it might be best if we can move him on and get a cheaper replacement in. Davies is our no1, can we really afford such an expensive no2?

 

Hopefully, the back operation he's had will solve the long standing problems and he'll be fit for next season. He's still a good goalkeeper, but Davies has proved to be an able back up.

 

Worth noting that Dibble dos really well on loan in the conference. If we stay in league one I could easily see Turnbull moved on & us go with Davies & Dibble
