I don't want my post to be viewed as "turning on" those two.

But its my belief that Macken needs taking out of the side for a break, hes low on confidence and low on movement. Twice tonight he tried to back in to wait for the ball, and Purse & Johnson just stepped around him. He looks completely ineffective at the moment for me, & Howard has been very poor by his own standards in the last few games - whether thats the case of being dragged down by the people around him, I don't know.

Boo'ing of Moore is totally unjustified, and any criticism of Steele is absurd. The lad must dread every single game with the way we're playing infront of him.

When a Manager talks about players fighting for their places, but evan when we are losing games he fails to drop certain players when they are not playing well. Davey has to take some of the blame.

 

Don't agree with booing. But I think its frustration with howard and macken because we have seen them play so well in the past. They don't look like the same players. Whether that is down to confidence or the system or what I don't know. But neither of them look a patch on the players they were last season.

 

I have never booed. But what do you expect people to do when they let us down each week. Get behind em. Everyone is sick of getting behind em. What the f are we getting behind!

as long as its not mi mate / favourite player / fantasy bloke.

Both have been **** for the last 2 games at least.

1st half - Steele miskicked - think it spun out for there throw. Some brain donors in the ponty started chanting Muller's name.</p>

5 minutes later Steele kept us in the match with a save low to his left. hey ho.</p>

About 30mins into the 1st half when Steele mis kicked and the ball went out of play 'Proper' fans in the Ponty started to chant Muller Muller

Dev took dogs abuse including being spat at on Satdi whilst the match was still going on!
Best player for last 3 seasons been turned on cos rumour has it 'he's too big for his boots'
Steele who has performed nowt short of miracles to stop us being turned over by 5 or 6

Who the **** would want to laik for Barnsley? Even for gold pigs

 

One thing for me about Howard

is that, at the moment, when we are desparately in need of leadership on the pitch, his own problems, whatever he percieves them to be, and his subsequent lack of form, are combining to make him a totally ineffective captain.

The first thing I would do as a new bod in the chair is give the armband to Foster.

There's a bigger picture here than individual performances - things are blatantly not right in my opinion from top to bottom at that club from what I see on the pitch.
