    Want a new TV but whats the difference between a HD TV and a HD ready TV, if any?

    HD ready isn't fully high def, where as Full HD is

    To answer your question HD TV and HD ready TV are the same thing. If it is advertised as full HD then it's better than HD ready

    They really make it nice and simple don't they

    it's all about the resolution.... like most things in life more is better.... although unless you have blu ray or the now unsupported hddvd you wont really notice any difference between HDready or FullHD. SkyHD does not currently support the 1080p standard.... i would reccomend getting a full hd as with a ps3 it is amazin.... also put some money aside for a monster hdmi cable make a lot of difference!! (£100ish!!)

    Really ? Does the Monster HDMI cable really change things. I always believed Monster SCARTs were a total rip-off ......
