With 5 league games left, and probably 2/3 Play off games as well, do we think Cole will reach 20 goals ?. He's had his critics this season, and rightly so at times, but the improvement is definitely there to see.
If we get a few more pens, I wonder if Norwood or Cole would prefer taking them!. Fingers crossed though that Cole will only need these next 5 league games to reach 20, who needs those extra Play off games ehh lol.
Read someone saying at start of season our strikers wouldn't get 15 between them this season - they've worked their socks off and really bought into what Duff is doing. We currently have 3 players in double figures and second highest scorers in the league - that's incredible.
Cole was written off by many at the start. I thought he would take pver from vic as the fans scapegoat. Had a good season credit to him and duff.
It doesn't rhyme but every chance of 20. More brilliance from Duff and his staff because Cole has been hoovering up goals from short range in the last 2-3 months having never previously regularly got into that area and they've coached him to do that.
He will be reminding his dad of Ruud Van Nistelrooy. He was the ultimate poacher scoring a few hundred goals, but only ever one outside the box.
Had an excellent season, definitely found his level same with Norwood. Neither are good enough for the next step up but that is irrelevant at this stage.
