Two Boys Arrested Over Attack On Children 9:20pm UK, Sunday April 05, 2009 Police will apply to magistrates for more time to question two boys arrested over a vicious attack on two other children. Police investigating the alleged incident An 11-year-old boy is in intensive care while a nine-year-old has been slashed with a knife. The pair were found during a search in the Brick Ponds area of Edlington, Doncaster, South Yorkshire on Saturday. People living nearby described seeing the younger boy wandering along the street "dazed" and covered in blood. Jean Wright, 68, said: "My husband saw him walking past the outside of our house and he was covered in what my husband thought was red paint. When he went out he saw it was blood." Mr Wright described how his son Ian found the 11-year-old on the edge of a stream, lying face down with his arms outstretched covered in dried mud and blood. Edlington, near Doncaster Police were called at around 2.20pm yesterday after the nine-year-old was found on Auburn Road. He was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary. The 11-year-old was critically injured and was air-lifted to Sheffield Children's Hospital and put in intensive care. South Yorkshire Police said he remained in a "critical but stable" condition in hospital but was showing improvement and had now been taken off a ventilator. The nine-year-old boy was undergoing a second operation on his arm. Local resident Lisa Meehan who helped looked for the children told Sky News the younger child was a "real mess". "You couldn't see his face for blood. His lips were blue and his eyes were really 'out'. His face was all swollen. You couldn't see his skin. "His arms were the same. His feet were black. I thought he had black socks on but he didn't, it was his feet. He was just a mess. It shocked my daughter." The two suspects were found by police in allotments near the ravine. Officers have been making house-to-house visits. A police spokesman said there was a "visible police presence" in the Edlington area.
I know what I'd do to the little scumbags who did this but this PC shithole country that we live in will ensure that the closest they come to justice will be a few months in a juvenile detention centre complete with all the mod cons many other kids dont get at home. Makes me sick.
Me too Kanecat; poor James and what happened to him were my first thoughts. Those two were evil little Barstewards too and yet there were slimy shithead lawyers falling fighting to reduce their sentences on the grounds of their human rights being breached!! You couldnt make it up. One day the PC brigade, the slimeball lawyers, the bankers, the corrupt politicians and all the others who have contributed to the death of this once great country will face judgement - at least I hope so.
RE: and you know the full story do you? nt No, just what I've read and heard. Do you? No I didnt think so. **** me why do people get so defensive? Maybe I should have put, if they are found guilty - then we can comment? And the state the two little lads were left in, battered, slashed with knives, one nearly dead, its going to have to be one hell of a story to prove self defence but you think what you want.
i'm not defending anyone.... ... just not jumping to conclusions and getting out the gallows just yet. it's attitudes like that that get paediatricians beaten up, the birmingham six and guilford four locked up and people like stefan kichkow (sp?) sent downfor decades.
