First one has just popped into my head. Does anyone know of a transgender teacher? And if so what are they called by kids? I don't really mean pronouns of she/her they/them and he/him but more miss, ms, Mr or sir and miss. It's the they/them folk u wondered about really. And the second one that's completely unrelated is vaping. How much of an issue is it in schools? Is it allowed? And if not is the ban actually enforced? And lastly is it a gender issue? Walked past a school at lunch today and every second girl was at it but I didn't see a single boy. I've never walked as quickly to get away from the sickly sweet stench as a huge cloud drifted over. And just because it's a school thread. All teachers are lazy and get too much time off and don't get me started on the librarians...
I knew of one transgender teacher and they called her Miss, which is how she wanted to be addressed. Vaping is banned but they still do it. Mainly the lads at our school (or they’re mainly the ones who are caught, possibly because they can’t cover the smell up with perfume). To say we’re a secondary school it’s only a handful (that I know of) that do it.
To my knowledge, we don't have any transgender teachers at the 3x secondary schools I support, so can't answer you on that one. However, vaping is banned as is smoking at all those schools, it's uncommon as it's been clamped down on quite hard but some are still caught doing it, most locations they found to vape in secret have been found out anyway.
