Hassell , really good for me today. not sure would play him there everygame but today he was very good Steele, He gives me nightmares every time they get a freekick /corner. he comes out and misses the ball so many times.
For me the reason Steele didn't win any corners or freekicks was down to poor defending. When they have a corner they put players in front of Steele to stop him coming for the ball, we didn't protect him enough (Shouldn't we have a player between steele and their player forcing them away from the keeper and allowing him to come for the ball?). At the opposite end of the pitch when we had corners we didn't put anyone on their keeper so he could come for it every time.
Thought it was Steele's flapping at fault for 1st goal. He gave a confident call then got nowhere near it. Hassell played very well. Not a defended eh keef? Pfft.
Steele doesn't want a player in front of him. Also, at times they weren't in front of him they were at the front post.
How do you know he doesn't want protection in front of him? If he is happy with two opposition players in front of him with nobody trying to clear his path then that's his fault but I've never seen him say this (doesn't mean he hasnt though). I'm not sure what you mean by they were at the front post.
