Todays result strngthens my opinion that the first team when fit and playing something like are a match for anyone in this league. The replacements are largely making up the numbers on the bench and in the reserves.

Big mistake deciding to "go with what weve got" Mssrs Ritchie and Shepherd and its coming back and biting you on too much of a regular basis.

i have to say Robbie Williams sounded like he had a good game today. Did a few vital stops, including one off the line.

Yes hes had some good games but is never going to be the clubs regular left back, like Heckinbottom lacks pace and looks like hes battling a weight problem.

The left back position is in dire need of a better player.

Robbie was left exposed as he struggled to get back from an attack 5 mins earlier and had no help from McIndoe. he had a choice - either hit the player with a tackle 35 yards from goal or let him sail past him and get the cross in. He chose to back off, as he did all afternoon, and all afternoon it put us in trouble. It was only the fact that their wingers tended to cross behind the goal that saved us further problems.

Robbie - you are useless backing off, so at least try and get a tackle in when the chance presents itself. As the winger went outside you you had that chance - your failure to do so cost us the goal.

have i trusted everything i get told ? ff ff I've always had a mind of my own (as regulars know). You forgot to mention his clearance off the line and the one he blocked which looked like a sure goal. At least if your going to have a go at a player. Make the sides more balanced.
