1. Mcindoe said on the radio the other day "I am glad Barnsley didn't stand in my way with going to Wolves". How could we stand in his way because of the clause ? Unless their was no clause.....Either way someone is lying. 2. Davey on the radio said tonight "the players will be wearing suits until the end of the season". Does that mean he's got the job till the end of the season and gave the game away with a slip of the tongue ? Afterall a new manager might go back to the Ritchie way of letting them wear tracksuits to matches.
I think you already know the answer to that. I suggest we stop giving him the attention he's obviously feeding on. </p>
McCarthy mentions the clause here..... McCarthy reveals McIndoe pursuit Wolves manager Mick McCarthy admitted he has had his eye on loan signing Michael McIndoe for some time. The former Yeovil and Doncaster winger, who completed his move from Barnsley on Friday, trained with his new team-mates for the first time on Monday and is in the squad to face Crystal Palace on Tuesday night. McCarthy told the club's website: "I have known about him for some time. I watched him when I was at Sunderland and you have only got to look at his record. He's been getting better and better. "The clause was there to let him speak to other clubs and so I asked the question. "He's a good player. He scored 28 goals for Doncaster and he's got a total of five so far this term."
Either: 1. Go and address the issues with Mr Shepherd as you have a friendly invite to do so OR 2. Carry on with your suppositions and HAVE to go and discuss the matter with Mr Shepherd (or his Legal Team)!
RE: Either: I have no doubt there was a clause in his contract, both managers have stated this BUT I heard from a few people at the game last night that McIndoe upset quite a few of the 'drinkers in the squad
it isn't rocket science the clause simply allows another team to talk to the player before his contract is up-otherwise they have to wait -in theory-until a few weeks-not sure of the exact figure of the top of my head-before the contract end</p> simple-no conspiracy-no cover up-he's gone -let's move on</p>
Can we go and see Sheps? I want to discuss at seat "Axe" style waitresses in the East Upper.</p> And how we're gonna beat Leeds on Satdi and stop you know who ending up in Millgarth!</p> </p>
No I........ believe Shepherd that a clause was in his contract. I just think Mcindoe is trying to butter up our board and fans by being overly nice.
one thing McIndoe isn't is thick if you've heard any of his interviews he comes across as "smarter than your average footballer"</p> http://www.bbc.co.uk/southyorkshire/realmedia/sport/football/audio_archives/barnsley/2006_7_season/mcindoe_231106.ram</p>
