Quote from Fox Sports on the Red Sox/Indians play off series "Game 4 on Tuesday night will feature two soft tossers" http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/7332134 One with "his old-school windup" and the other a "41-year-old knuckleballing master" PMSL
Not opened the link as I have game 4 of the D-backs/Rockies series to watch this evening - I assume that the 41-year-old knuckleballer is Boston's Tim Wakefield, brilliant pitcher, not sure how anyone even manages to connect on them.
Correct ! He's up in the next game, but I'll not mention the series score ! I'm rooting for the Red Sox having been to Boston for a shortbreak and had the stadium tour around Fenway Park. I haven't looked up the scores for a couple of weeks and was surprised/pleased to see that the Yankees had gone out ! (You could ask, having got married in NY, why I don't follow the Yankees, well Boston came first !) Will be watching the scores over the next few days now !
What I dont get is how everyone isnt hit out of the Park!
If Shane Warne bowled a full toss every ball he would get smashed all over , no matter how much dip he has on the ball.

If you saw the movement on Wakefield's knuckleball you'd realise why everyone isn't hit out of the park. It's not just late movement, it's moving all over the place for the full flight.
