    To be fair id take three quality players over ten **** ones anyday bit each to there own. Hoping when holgate pisses off we can use abit and get a bit of quality in.

    We need at least 8 quality players to have a competing squad so I'm not talking about players to make up the numbers. We look weak in all areas other than central midfield.

    We are currently a million miles off a team that can hope to get promotion. If avoiding relegation is our thing (and we avoided injuries) 3 will cover it.

    We look weak as possible in central midfield. We have numbers but only scowen with owt about him

    I'd say 3. Ideally attacking midfielders and strikers

    Then after start of season another midfielder, left back, right/centre back as cover

    Hourihane, Pearson, Rothwell, Scowen are about as strong as you will find at this level.

    2/3 strikers
    2/3 wingers
    2 full backs
    1 goalkeeper.

    Mickey mouse league look at last season we had a **** squad then. We just had a bigger shitter squad with more ****. We have got rid of some **** just need some quality. Exept central midfield that okay we need a winger who can run at defence a lb and a striker.

    We had a much better squad last season. We have got rid of some poor players but also some good ones. Currently we barely have enough for a starting 11 and subs.

    The problem is that hourihane Pearson scowen and rothwell can't play together. Hourihane doesn't fit in a 4 man midfield without shoving scowen out wide. Pearson isn't strong enough to play defensive midfield on his own so scowen has to come back deep and that means nobody behind the strikers.
    In a 5 man midfield we lose any attacking threat.

    Basically we have a lot of players and they are all OK but little thought seems to have put in to how they work together. It's completely pointless for example signing 4 brilliant defenders if they're all left footed and 5'6 . you need to sign players who compliment each other fit next to each other and in our midfield I think we have completely failed to do that.

    Central midfield isn't looking bad but I'd like to see us sign a bigger, more physical central defensive midfielder.

    Good ones? Jennings, turnbull? Milan? Dont say luke berry either good riddence. Your talking abput a side to get promoted from.this league none of them have the quality to be in a promotion team exept jennings but he hasnt got the attitude.
