Look back on my posts You will find I have slated Gordon Shephard...........ONCE And that was during the Flinder and Togwell transfers when it seemed Togwell was transfered as a sweetner in the Flinders transfer It was written in the Chronicle that this was not the case and I appologised for my comments I have also said about Shep that I don't think he understands the show business side of football I have met Shep and he seems to be a decent bloke I have never said we owt to get rid of Shep Regarding Andy Ritchie I have never said we owt to sack AR I think AR is doing a decent job with what he has got If you look back at my comments which some people think are negative, it boils down to one thing WE NEED MORE PLAYERS !!!! And we need players in vital positions ie strikers We have a weak squad From the outside looking in it looks (repeat - looks) like we are trying to do the Championship on the cheap Most people on here have belatedly come to the same conclusion What I think is making the problem much worse is the mixed messages coming out of the club PC - bums on seats GS - money to spend on players GS - offering money to AR for players AR - can't bring in players cos their wages are too high Now then, if Shep had come out at the start of the season and said 'we ant got any money so there will be no players coming in'. Then people would be disappointed but they would accept it But this is not what is actually happening. The result is a load of rumours e.g. Shep can't talk to AR etc etc etc So in a nutshell - I aint got a problem with the directors or the management of the club but I would like to see them strengthen the team to make sure we stay in this division.
