BARNSLEY have slapped a £5million price tag on FA Cup hero Brian Howard in a bid to keep him out of the clutches of a host of Premier League clubs. Howard, is a target for Everton following his exploits with the Tyke's this season. The midfielder has scored 11 goals and netted the late winner to dump Liverpool out of the FA Cup. David Moyes is plotting a £3m summer bid, but the Tykes are determined to keep him at Oakwell.
but thing is Brunt played for a bigger named team there is defined as they dont need the money so it'll take some special to prise him away. Well something like that
I just dont see why people are willing to let Howard go cheaply! Leon looks Ok but is below Howard in skill level, Leon has only scored 4 goals in his career, yet some want him to take Howard`s place. If Howard is for sale we should hold out for the maximum we can get, not just take £3m. We got more than that for Higgy anmd Howard is younger.
since when have we been able to hang onto talent for any length of time,WE ARE A SMALL -SELLING CLUB!!!!!!!
Be Lucky To Get Three Million Nevermind Five Million He signed a two year contract and so in the summer I don't think we will get 3 million for a player at a club hovering above the drop, with only 12 months left to run on his deal.
