Sky Sports understands Barnsley have dismissed an enquiry from Millwall for defender Jimmy McNulty. The 27-year-old excelled for the Tykes last season after securing a move from Brighton following loan spells at S****horpe. His contribution was recognised by his team-mates, who voted him their Player of the Season. McNulty is now the target of several Championship sides that are keen to recruit the left-sided centre-half. Barnsley have so far managed to fend off interest in the former Scotland U21 international, but could find it hard to resist any big money offers.
FAO Conan. 'McNulty is now the target of several Championship sides that are keen to recruit the left-sided centre-half'
Think he'll have a good season this year. You've to think, it was really his first full season without getting injured. Imo he just tired in the 2nd half of the season, but looked much more convincing in the first half.
thats alleged offers for both matt done and jim mcnulty plucked from league one reserves at the end of last season. hill's nuggets
Said the same pre-season. I think he will do well this year, especially if we can get someone commanding alongside him.
"but could find it hard to resist any big money offers" he'll go for 200k then if the don has his way
