    Not sure that we've had him on trial, but I think we were liked with bringing him in on loan a season or 2 ago.

    Either one of Blackett, or Burke would be great news. I really rated Blackett when he appeared in the Man U first team. Quick, composed on the ball, reads the game well, good distribution, strong enough in the air. Would be a top quality signing, but I think we will have strong competition for him.

    There's no way we can compete when they are on the likes of £20k and £25k per week. At a push we will be paying £5k-£10k a week. Doubt anyone has broken the £10k/wk Mark.

    Only way we'd get them is if it's on loan, with United paying 75% of their wages. Think United would rather sell them to teams in the champ who are happy to spend £20k/wk.

    He was on loan at Celtic last year and was awful, played about twice if I recall, even Effe Ambrose kept him out of the team.
