Great weather all week, England V Australia on Friday and its going to be like a scene from Waterworld (minus the crap acting). Last time I spent 2 hours crammed int'spoons at Leeds train station, don't think Im even going to bother setting of this time.
booked B&B for the night and watching football in Leeds aswell... plan at moment is to go up at lunchtime , check-in and then the pub!!!!
My other half has a ticket. He's not even bothering setting off. Worse case scenario is that they come out for a few token overs and no one gets their money back. Shame though ....
You're not kidding typical, it was exactly the same last year too with the Windies ODI. Anyway we've chalked f*ck on the early start tomorrow and opted instead to meet in Wetherspoons at about eleven, with a view to a full day sesh round Leeds, just like we did last year. If nothing else I shall once again enjoy spending my forthcoming refund money (and then some) on Leeds' finest ales. Look out for the stylishly unkempt looking fella slumped, possibly in a puddle of his own p*ss, and holding a Subway bag, in Leeds train station at about ten o'clock - that'll probably be me.
